A well balanced aura

On monday the 23st of May I read this story on FaceBook. With the ‘green light’ of Mrs. Gautami Chalke I post it to my readers.

“Yesterday had been to Aura Photography and Reader Event thinking that we could cover in our spiritual beliefs segments. Got an opportunity to get my self clicked and read my aura.

They were giving reviews on every individuals aura. When my turn came she asked what i was practising till then she didnt say a word about my aura status. The aura reader told me that she was quite suprised that inspite of such a busy and hectic schedule how could I manage keeping up such a high aura. When she told me about the golden white and green colour around me and importance of other different colours then I understood more clearly that it was nothing else but due to practice of rajyoga meditation regularly the aura was so well balanced. I was so happy knowing about my status of aura but more than that I was proud of being a small part of Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalya centre. I also left few books and addresses for those other spiritual people who became very curious to join rajyoga after seeing my aura status.”

Gautami Chalke, Mumbai, is student at the Brahma Kumaris and works as a Senior Coordinator for CNBC TV Shows and CHIP Magazine at Infomedia 18 and Network 18 Group.

Thanking Yourself

Here’s a less used phrase. Saying, “I thank me,” to yourself means, “I thank myself.” Although you may not be in the habit of acknowledging your own efforts with Gratitude, it strengthens your energetic field when you do. ”

Curing Depression Through Meditation

Someone suffering from depression should experience some relief by picturing (visualizing) the following meditation commentary on the screen of his/her mind for 15 minutes every morning and evening:

I am a soul, a tiny star, sitting on my throne between the eyebrows……..
I picture my destination, a land of soft golden-red light, beyond the sun, moon and stars……..
On the wings of thought I fly there……..
Now I am in front of the Father of the soul, a star-like energy like myself but an Ocean of Bliss (Joy)……..
Strong currents of spiritual bliss (joy) are radiating from this Supreme Point of Light in all directions……..
Like a sponge, I soak up this light of bliss within me……..
I am overflowing with happiness and super sensuous joy (joy which is not experienced from the sense organs but through the connection with the Supreme Soul)……..

Now, in a deep meditative state, repeat silently the following positive affirmations (thoughts):

I can be free of depression, right now……..
I am the master of my mind, my thoughts, my intellect……..
My thoughts create my feelings……..
I free my mind from all worries, fears and memories of the past………
I think only positive thoughts about myself………
I feel very confident, energetic and enthusiastic……..
I am very strong and can be a winner in every field of life……..
By understanding this meditation I have understood the true purpose and worth of life and am getting more and more interested in it……..
I shall now take interest in the activities of day-to-day life……..

Introversion

Introversion helps to get in touch with one’s own perfect divine self.

Projection: Introversion means to spend time in silence, enabling us to get in touch with our inner divine self. It helps us to go within and recognize our inner own inner truth. It is not just to stay within but to recognise one’s own inner worth and deal with the world with it.

Solution: Even during the worst situations, it is necessary to become introverted, look within myself and see my own inner worth. I will then naturally be able to maintain my self-respect, having connected to my inner divinity. This enables me to be stable and happy, whatever the situation might be.

Are You A Compulsive Complainer?

We live in a world full of imperfections, and, luckily, we are not perfect either. Luckily, because being imperfect offers us the possibilities of learning, change and hope. It inspires us to make an effort and it prevents us from getting bored. However, for the one who complains it seems that the world should be perfect. With such a habit it becomes something natural to think how things should or shouldn’t be or could or could not be.

When you complain, your energy and clarity reduce and your unhappiness increases. You don’t accept what there is or what is, as it is. Your complaints lead you to criticism and to useless gossip. In these kinds of conversations time and energy are lost and mistrust and unhappiness are generated. Relationships are harmed and then require a good investment of time and energy to get back the lost trust.

Someone who complains regularly expects the world to make them happy and the Universe to dance to their music. As things are almost never as they want, they are in a state of constant complaint. They don’t realize that happiness comes from within and is cultivated within. They expect situations and others to make them happy. And, as this does not happen, they complain constantly.

The person who often complains feels disappointed and gets discouraged. They feel that they cannot do anything to change what they would like to change. They feel weakened inside.

As you sow, so shall you reap

The mind is like a garden – as you sow, so shall you reap. When you cultivate it and nurture it, it will blossom beyond your wildest expectation. But if you let the weeds take over, you will never reach your potential. What you put in is what you get out. So avoid violent movies, trashy novels and all other negative influences. Peak performers are meticulous about the thoughts they allow into the gardens of their minds. You truly cannot afford the luxury of a single negative thought.

Ego

Ego is like a room of your own, a room with a view with the temperature and the smells and the music that you like. You want it your own way. You’d just like to have a little peace, you’d like to have a little happiness, you know, just gimme a break. But the more you think that way, the more you try to get life to come out so that it will always suit you, the more your dear of other people and what’s outside your room grows. Rather than becoming more relaxed, you start pulling down the shades and locking the door. When you do go out, you find the experience more and more unsettling and disagreeable. You become touchier, more fearful, more irritable than ever. The more you try to get it your way, the less you feel at home.

Talking to the self

Dadi Janki

Dadi Janki

When you talk to yourself in your mind, which self do you address? And how? Usually people do not talk to their divinity, but to the most superficial aspects of their everyday personality. And often it’s a stream of fears, complaints and a mindless repetition of old things. If we talked that way to another human being, we would have to apologise.

Learning to talk properly to the self is a spiritual endeavour. Thoughts from the past and worries about the future do not create good conversation. Instead learn to talk to your mind as if it were a child. Talk to it with love. If you just force a child to sit down, he won’t. A good mother knows how to prompt her child into doing what she wants. Be a good mother to your mind, teach it good, positive thougths so that when you tell it to sit quietly, it will.

Love your mind. Stay happy.
